Reimplantation of an Avulsed Tooth – Save it. Don’t lose it. Reimplant it.

Table of Contents

A tooth that gets completely knocked out of the mouth is called an avulsed tooth. Many people assume that once the tooth is out, it is lost forever. However, this is not true. If managed correctly and quickly, the natural tooth can often be reimplanted back into its original position, allowing it to function normally again.

Time is the most critical factor. The sooner the tooth is placed back into the socket, the higher the success rate. If immediate reimplantation is not possible, the tooth should be kept moist in milk, saline, or the patient’s own saliva — never allowed to dry.

At our clinic, our Expert Team of Specialist Endodontists is trained in the advanced procedure of reimplantation of avulsed teeth. The method involves  cleaning, Root Canal Treatment , reposition, and stabilize the natural tooth inside the socket,to help preserve its long-term health.

Saving your own natural tooth is always the best option when possible. If an accident occurs, stay calm and act fast. Bring the tooth to us immediately — and let us help you put it back where it belongs.
