With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Premsudha is a highly skilled Ophthalmologist (eye doctor) specializing in both the front and back parts of the eye. She received her extensive training from respected institutions and leading experts in the field. She completed her MBBS degree Stanley Medical College, India in 1997. She then earned her DO from Madras Medical College in 1999 and her DNB from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, UAE in 2001. Since 2009, Dr. Premsudha has been recognized as a highly reputed ophthalmologist at SMC.
Dr. Premsudha is a recognized authority in eye care, having presented numerous research papers on improving vision with laser surgery. Her pioneering work earned her the Prof. C.P. Gupta award for the best paper on using Mitomycin in laser eye surgery (Photorefractive Keratectomy), an honour she also received at The All-India Ophthalmology Conference.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Premsudha is deeply committed to community service. Since 1992, she’s volunteered with the Lions Club, participating in eye screening and blood donation drives. She has organized and led many eye-screening camps in both India and the UAE.
